Well I hate to tell you this, but my Wife rode at least 500 miles in one day on her 1998 650 Savage. The summer before she got her bike we rode my 2001 marauder, with a trailer hooked on the back and my wife sitting behind me, to Niagra Falls Canada then swung over to Manhatten to stay a couple of blocks from Central Park for a couple of days the made the long trip back to Northern Iowa. The next summer she got her liscence and we rode both bikes to New Orleans and back. She rode a little over 500 miles in one day. I couldn't believe it!! We bought the Savage used. It is a 1998 model that we bought in 2001. It is all YELLOW with chrome and black accents. We had the best time of our lives the last two years.
By the way, if anyone would like to sponser us on our future summer trips we could probably work something out. Anyway, if you see a yellow Savage with a gorgeous female at the controls and a radical looking Marauder with loud cobra exhaust and handsome guy at the controls, just give us a wave or stop us for a little visit. Our BUNS could use a break.
